Terms & Conditions for Personal Training

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. If you're able to reschedule for another day, there’s no extra cost — as long as the 24 hours’ notice is met. This applies to both of us.

Cancellations within 24 hours or a no-show will incur the full session fee. In exceptional circumstances, I may offer flexibility at my discretion.

Refunds & Session Expiry

Prepaid sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as required under New Zealand law. Sessions or prepaid packages must be used within 8 months of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Programme-Only Packages

Programme-only packages are designed for clients who prefer to train independently with structured support. Each package includes an initial assessment, a personalised programme, a show-through session, two check-ins via email, text message or phone call (with option to update the programme), and a 30-minute review session. In-person support is not included unless otherwise arranged.

All sessions included in the package must be used within 6 weeks of the initial assessment, unless otherwise agreed. Rescheduling of the show-through and review sessions are subject to the same notice period as the cancellation policy outlined above.

Payment Policy

Payment is required prior to the delivery of all services, including personal training sessions and programme-only packages.

Personal Training Sessions: Single sessions and multi-session packs must be paid in advance at the time of booking or by the date specified on your invoice. Sessions will not be confirmed until payment is received.

Programme-Only Packages: Full payment is required before the initial assessment. No part of the programme will be delivered until payment has been received in full.

Late or Unpaid Invoices: Invoices are due on receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of future sessions or withholding of programme updates.

Ongoing Clients: For clients on long-term training plans, recurring invoicing (e.g. monthly) may be arranged on a case-by-case basis, with payment terms agreed in advance.

All services are non-refundable once delivered. Please refer to the cancellation and rescheduling policy for changes to booked sessions.

Assumption of Risks

By participating in personal training or physical activity, you acknowledge that exercise carries inherent risks. You agree to train at your own discretion and accept full responsibility for your participation.

A full waiver will be provided as part of your sign-up process.
